Welcome to the club, Dani! 🙌

Daniela Andrade is a Guatemalan elite athlete, entrepreneur, and social impact leader who has redefined the intersection between sport, purpose, and human resilience.

From an early age, Daniela demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence—both academically and athletically. As a standout soccer player, she represented the Guatemala National Team, competing in World Cup qualifiers at both the U20 and senior levels. Her talent led her to the United States, where she trained at IMG Soccer Academy and later earned a place at the University of South Florida, competing in NCAA Division I soccer within a nationally ranked Top 25 program. Her football journey extended into the professional arena, with experience in teams such as Seattle Reign (NWSL), Boston Breakers (WPSL), and Santiago Morning in Chile.

After years in elite soccer, Daniela transitioned into CrossFit, where she quickly rose to international recognition. In the 2021 Open (Scaled division), she ranked among the Top 20 worldwide, Top 7 in North America, and #1 in Guatemala—further proving her versatility and competitive drive.

However, it is in endurance running where Daniela has made history.

She became the first person in the world to run across Chile, covering over 5,300 kilometers in just 140 days—equivalent to 126 marathons—through extreme conditions ranging from the Atacama Desert to Patagonia. This feat was not just physical; it was purposeful. Through this journey, she raised awareness and funds to combat malnutrition in Guatemala, building a global movement of over 250 participants contributing through sport.

In 2022, Daniela accomplished another world-first: running across Guatemala, covering 725 kilometers in 10 days. This journey raised funds for clean water access and resulted in the documentary “725 km of Culture,” a project that captures the essence of Guatemala’s landscapes, communities, and challenges.

Beyond competition, Daniela is the Founder & CEO of Life Thru Sports, a movement dedicated to using sport as a vehicle for social change. Through this platform, she designs and executes events, manages sponsorships, and builds campaigns that raise awareness and funds for critical issues such as water access and community development. She also founded Opportunity Meets Preparation, an agency that helps athletes secure college sports scholarships, guiding them through recruitment, placement, and visa processes.

Her professional experience includes leadership roles within national sports organizations, such as the Equestrian and Pentathlon Associations of Guatemala, where she managed athlete development, international competitions, and coordination with the Olympic Committee.

Academically, Daniela holds a background in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida, along with master’s degrees in Sports Management and Corporate Social Responsibility through Sport from the Johan Cruyff Institute. She complements her experience with coaching licenses and continues to develop as a leader in sport.

An author as well, Daniela wrote “Own Your FKN Life – Unbreakable Will,” sharing the mindset and experiences that fueled her most extreme challenges.

At her core, Daniela Andrade is driven by a simple but powerful belief: sport is not just performance—it is a tool to inspire, to connect, and to create lasting change. Whether on the field, on the road, or within communities, she continues to push boundaries—not only of endurance, but of impact.
