The short answer is yes, but it is not guaranteed. We know how important it is for friends to play together and parents to work together for transportation and scheduling needs. When you register for our recreational program, please submit your requests for friends, siblings or coaches and we will do our best to honor those requests.

However it should be noted that any such requests are still not guaranteed as it is important to have competitive balance among our teams. The Recreational Director has final say, and all decisions by our recreational director are final.

Please register your child in the PlayMetrics system and choose the recreational program location that is most convenient for you. We have four campuses (Belleair, Largo, Seminole, Palm Harbor) and if you would like your child to practice and play home games out of a certain location, you will register specifically for the programs out of that facility.

The only way to guarantee this preference is to volunteer to coach a team, or to sponsor a team. The Club tries very hard to assign players to play for teams based out of their preferred location. However, all Recreational teams rely on volunteer parent coaches. There are no paid or club-assigned coaches for any recreational teams. Therefore, as an incentive and courtesy, the Club gives final preference to the Coaches to determine where they will practice/play. Therefore, situations may arise where players may need to be assigned to fields, which are not their preference.

Please note that teams are filled in the order in which they are received. So if you cannot coach or sponsor a team, you will give yourself the next best chance of practicing/playing out of the field of your preference, if you register early. It should also be noted that the Club does not offer refunds if you are not able to play out of the field of your preference.

Certain complex restrictions are in effect; Belcher Complex in Largo is not available on Tuesdays and Belleair has limited availability during the Spring (Monday and Wednesday fields are used for flag football).

We will be going by school year, with an August 1st cutoff for age groups. The plan is to have the following age groups: U6 (4 and 5 year old's), U8 (6 and 7 year old's), U10 (8 and 9 year old's), U12 (10 and 11 year old's), U14 (12 and 13 year old's) and U17+ (14 years and up...high school players). The only coed age group will be U6. Your child’s age group fills in automatically when you register online. The age groups may however be modified based upon the registrations in any given age group.

It is our goal to minimize travel, especially in the U6 through U10 age groups, and we also strive to not form coed teams.

• All players: soccer ball (U6/U8 size 3, U10/U12 size 4, U14+ size 5) cleats, shinguards and a water bottle.
• U8-U19: The club will provide you with 2 jerseys, a game and a training/alternate jersey. You will need to provide a pair of black shorts and socks.

U6-U19 Fall:  U6-U10 will have one practice per week.  U12, U14, and U17+ can have up to two practices per week. The exact day and time is selected by the Coach, to best suit his/her schedule.  Game schedule will be released as the season approaches. The exact schedule will not be set until just before the beginning of the season. Makeup and rainout dates will generally be scheduled for Fridays and Sundays.

U6-U19 Spring:  There will be two weeks of practices at the beginning of the season.  Then each week there will be two weekday games (no Saturday games). Generally, younger teams will play at 6.00pm, older teams at 7.15pm.  All teams will play small sided games on 7 v 7 academy fields, team size will vary depending on age 6 v 6, 7 v 7 or 8 v 8. Game length will vary.

Families will play primarily out of the location they are registered. The number of games that can be played at the field of your preference, will be dependent on the number of teams that register, where those other teams prefer to play and field availability. For example, if we have eight teams, and six of them prefer to play out of your home fields, then the majority of the games will be there. All home games will be played out of your preferred location.

The cost for one field banner is $500 or 2 banners for $900. Your company’s banner can be put up at the location(s) of your choice (Palm Harbor, Seminole or Largo) and your logo will be added to our Sponsors page on the website.
